Waste Collection II
The series Waste Collection was awarded in the International Photography Awards 2019 and the Tokyo International Foto Awards 2019. Thailand has two faces. There are devastated places flooded by garbage and tourists, alongside pristine nature you have seen in photos and in the movie The Beach. Both tourists as well as a surprisingly large number of locals are to blame. You can google how waste collection on the streets works, how many tons of plastic end up in the sea every year and how much waste is shipped to Thailand from other countries. Waste Collection is an award winning series that originated in Chiang Mai, Ko Lanta, Ao Nang and Bangkok, and shows the less flattering image of Thailand.
The photograph is printed with a pigment ink on a high quality fine art archival paper. This guarantees the highest museum quality and standards with long lasting color and saturation. Each print from this limited edition comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed, numbered and titled. It’s shipped rolled in a tube to any country worldwide.
