Room Number 4
Eight Rooms is a series of eight scenes where people are captured in disturbing situations. The series was created in 2019 and has collected several international photo awards since then, including "Shortlisted Photographer" at Sony World Photography Awards. My photography always reflects a contradiction between order and disorder, both in the physical world and a state of mind. Here I had the pleasure of working with actors from the Svanda Theater in Prague. Their acting skills went beyond the gestures of ordinary models, which gave me the opportunity to capture variations of possible stories hidden behind a simple look or move of the lip. The final explanation is left up to the viewer – for me, this is preferable to presenting a final story without any space for imagination.
The photograph is printed with a pigment ink on a high quality fine art archival paper. This guarantees the highest museum quality and standards with long lasting color and saturation. Each print from this limited edition comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed, numbered and titled. It’s shipped rolled in a tube to any country worldwide.
